He was very approachable, explained everything to me in easy terms, made me feel at ease and he came across as a very caring person wanting to do the best for me.

I had been in and out of hospital, had countless doctors/hospital appointments for the past 18 months because i had been misdiagnosed with a sinus infection, this doctor had a proper look at the initial scans and finally told us they were looking in the wrong area and got things back on the right track and hopefully i will be sorted soon thanks to him. ive been randomly blacking out for almost 2 years and have just been mainly ignored by my GP so it was so good to get such a great doctor at the hospital for once. He listened really well and explained things in a way i could understand whilst also making me feel at ease. The best doctor i have ever personally seen.

I was very apprehensive about my appointment. I had previously been returning firstly to my GP and then to two consultants for over two years and experienced condescending behaviour, rudeness and abruptness, been given reasons for my symptoms as being 'menopausal, over fifty and made to feel paranoid. Eventually I was found to have an growth on my colon caused by a kink in my intestines, am sure - especially by the way everyone went very quiet and not forth coming, was caused when I had my appendix out and was admitted then left a long while because a doctor wasn't sure I was in enough pain for it to be appendicitis, with poison seeping into my system, and given the reason for the bruising on my stomach as 'the poison was all over and we've had to move things around and clean in there' As soon as I arrived this week for my appointment I was greeted by Dr Sivas staff, making me feel comfortable, as I sat waiting I hoped when entering the room this would continue. I needn't of worried Dr Siva was lovely, he spoke to me, not at me. He listened to me while I went over my concerns, didn't interrupt or disregard what I was saying. He explained to me what could be the problem and the tests he would conduct to resolve it. I was relieved and grateful and didn't feel patronised in any way. I expected to have to book for the procedures to be carried out at a later date but Dr Siva proceeded then to carry them out. I have been greatly reassured by Dr Sivas care and attention that my other experiences I had been unfortunate. I can't recommend and praise him and his staff enough.
